A Nice Local Pub with Nice Food Choice. Prices are standard for local pubs. One of the busier pubs in Cheadle Hulme and can get quite noisy as expected. Sometimes has live bands on Fridays and Saturdays at around 8/9PM.
First time going in there properly. Absolutely loved it. The staff here brightened up mine and my family's day as we had had a funeral this day and went for something to eat afterwards. Everyone was very friendly and helpful, and were very understanding
Situated at the side of Cheadle hulme rail stationLarge & spacious ample parking,friendly staffwarm & welcoming. Well stocked bar Joseph Holt,but other beers are available. Good menu bar food,largest cakes u've ever seen! Wellworth a visit.
Went here on Saturday for a birthday meal with a group of 9 people. The food was great for most of us however it was completely spoilt by poor service as one of the meals sausage and mash came with the mash cold we sent it back and the waitress said it was being completely remade and would be 10 minutes (we only wanted the mash heating up) after 15 minutes and most of us had finished our meals I went to ask where the meal was they said they would go and see, it eventually came out after another 5 minutes (20 minutes after it went back) so my mum had to eat alone so great family birthday meal. When I told the waitress we weren't happy her answer was well it's because you're a big table!! There were only 4 tables eating in the restaurant so this shouldn't be a problem for a big restaurant. Wouldn't go back despite the nice food as customer service wasn't good enough and there were 9 people eating which means 9 people telling there friends not to bother as they aren't bothered by unhappy customers!!
