Although medically qualified, I havent practised medicine for many years......a combination where a little bit of knowledge can be dangerous. Its in that situation where a patient needs to feel completely confident that the Doctor looking after them is an expert in their field and is going to offer them the latest and best treatment available. An added bonus occurs if this can be delivered in an informative, calm but honest manner. Steve Shaw has ticked all the boxes for me. I ended up as a patient due to the unexpected result of a heart screening scan, some bad news Id rather not have had, but I feel Im in very good hands.
