My teacher Jon has helped me develop on the piano by teaching me chords, keys and rhythms, using excellent teaching methods. He has made piano a lot more interesting and enjoyable for me, as he is helping me to feel confident in playing in an improvisational way, rather than just reading off sheets.
My son, Billy, started guitar lessons with Jon as a reluctant 8 year old who couldn't sit still or concentrate for more than a minute or two. Jon's patient and calm approach turned him around, along with tailoring the lessons to suit his needs and working on his confidence. Billy is now an enthusiastic 17 year old guitarist, working on his Grade 7 guitar and music A level, and hoping for a future in the music industry.This is all thanks to Jon for believing in him and inspiring him. Jon will cater for all styles of music, and is equally inspiring to young beginners as he is to advanced students. We've not met a better teacher!
