1st impressions are positive, but just over a week on from 2 fillings and I'm in pain. I will report back on follow up treatment.

Ive been a patient of Foxland dental practice the last couple of years prior to this I had a real dental phobia. A previous dentist who Im sure was a coal miner in another life used to drill & drill with so little local anaesthetic if any at all which includes when having nerves removed I used to feel every single thing. Then when I found a Reena it was like Id been given a new life thats no exaggeration I used to walk in crying even for a filling, but the friendliness of Susan on reception, Reena & her lovely nurse Chi Chi, helped to calm me down. Reena used to have the radio on quietly in the background but she let me take my music (on my phone) & a speaker so it was louder but it meant I couldnt hear the drill. I took in a blindfold so I couldnt see the instruments coming toward me. Reena would rub local anaesthetic on my gums before she injected the local in, I would put my hand up & Reena would stop what she was doing & gradually I calmed down. Reena can now inject without the need to numb my gums first, I have had crowns fitted which means having those disgusting molds first. Needless to say I cannot recommend this dental practice highly enough they are fabulous x
I found the dentist lady to be perfectly amicable and she was good to talk to. However, I found the receptionists to be beyond disappointing. Upon entering, i was told to wait and stand around for 10 minutes. The receptionist was on the phone for 5 minutes while the other 5 minutes she was looking around her desk. Just simply register or book me in! It is not rocket science. When I left the dental room to proceed back to the reception, I believe I was waiting again for 10 minutes with nobody in front of me and this time no phone call. Would not recommend on customer service from receptionist.
Sam and Susan are a credit to the industry and a credit to themselves. Take passion and care seriously and have a great level of understanding. I look forward to continuing at Foxlands.
