I stayed in room 111 it was fine apart from the noise from the bar below. Also the breakfast is self service which nobody from the hotel informed me. Bacon, scrambled eggs and beans. Later found out you can ask for fried, omelette etc again someone from the hotel could of informed us. Note in the room perhaps? Won't be staying again lacks a personal touch when checking in and out. Oh and the bloody planes are a nightmare too. Dyson cool fan is the room was a good thing though.

Staff really pleasant front of house and in the restaurant. In the bar it was a bit of a scrum earlier on as they were showing the big match and could have done with more bar staff as they were pushed...not their fault though. Had dinner in the restaurant which was fine and reasonably priced, great service. Equally, the breakfasts offered were fresh and interesting and the hot buffet was exactly that, piping hot still even at 9 o'clock, bearing in mind they finish at 9:30. The double room was spotless, will all the usual facilities. For what it cost...excellent value.

Reasonable hotel that we used for ease of access to Manchester Airport. It looks great and feels like a modern hotel. However, there were a number of niggles "beneath the surface". We had two rooms, both of which suffered from drainage issues with the sinks and toilets. I took a towel from its folded position in the bathroom and a couple of long black hairs fell out (I'm a blonde, short haired male). The drinking cups in the bathroom looked like they hadn't been used (or cleaned) in a long time - I settled for using the coffee cups which were much better. The staff were very pleasant. Overall, I'm not convinced whether I would return, but it's functionality (proximity to the airport) may just nudge me to stay again. The other plus is that it is on a complex with gym, pub, etc. available.

We visited for the business Christmas Party, at 45 per head it was c10 more expensive than other options but you "get what you pay for", clearly not always the case. Main area lively with big screens and good service prior to the event, the food was very good. However, we were put in the restaurant so nowhere near other guests with a bar and other tables in-between us. In addition, we were squeezed in to a corner and they attempted to put 14 of us on a table for 10 max, you could not fit chairs around it. Initially there was no one to sort this and each time I needed to speak to someone I had to go back to reception and ask them to get someone. We eventually settled moving 1/2 our guests so splitting the group up.The bar was impossible to get served quickly at, the girl behind was very good but needed more support, the fact that the dance floor was where the bar was didn't help. The room also became very very cold to a point we needed to leave. We found another bar that was adjacent to a proper "party" room.I don't mind businesses trying to make as much money as they can but their restaurant is not a venue for a Christmas party, it's too spaced out and there was zero interaction with other party goers. The bar didn't work and the entertainment was poor.Sorry but I could not recommend and if you are booked do all you can to avoid going in to the restaurant for the event.

Nice hotel. Rooms are bit old and outdated. But restaurant and bar are very good.
